The Moving Castle project is a collaborative artwork inspired by Hayao Miyazaki´s "Howl´s Moving Castle" film. We had a lot of fun during 3 months to create this photoreal version of what a matte painting shot would be like.

We faced the challenge to create the base in 3D and recreate a realistic landscape that ressembled the movie enough to be recognized but with a new approach on a few elements, characters and design tweaks.

This is the first teamwork challenge hosted by Rafael Falconi´s mentoring program at the Discord Channel.
